Here is my newest collage art. I tried a more involved type of collage using a photo of my grandparents when my grampy was in the service. This is done on Gesso board and I usually work on canvas. It was different for me, but I think I'm in love with these boards! This type of photo media was inspired by the works of Sarah Ahearn Bellemare. It really forces you to look at the nooks and crannies of it for it does tell a story. I have found that I like to do more hand drawn painted art on my board, rather than paper cuts, but we'll see where it grows from here... :)
